Dear Parents and Guardians of Our Candidates for First Holy Communion,
 
This year your child will meet the mercy and unconditional love of God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and s/he will meet Jesus in the most profound way, truly present, in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. In these two sacraments, your child will come to know God and his Son Jesus and grow in grace and holiness. These sacraments are eternal gifts.  
 
First Communion is a two-year program beginning in Grade 1. If your child has not completed the Grade 1 faith formation at Holy Trinity Parish, please contact the Office of Faith Formation at htpreled@gmail.com. In addition, faithfulness to weekly Sunday Mass and prayer in the home are essential to the preparation of your child for these two life-changing sacraments.
