Learning Model for Elementary School Grade 2

Holy Trinity Parish will adopt an in-person classroom model of learning for Elementary School Grade 2 during the 2020-2021 school year. Classes will meet onsite two times a month on Sundays at 9:30 AM at the location of your child’s registration. In addition, regularly attending Sunday Mass and receiving the Eucharist is an important part of faith formation and the practice of the faith. All Sundays are obligatory for the faithful to participate in the Mass. The weekend schedule of Masses at Holy Trinity Parish is as follows:

Most Blessed Sacrament Church: Saturday 4:30 PM and Sunday 8:30 AM
Our Lady of Good Counsel Church: Saturday 6:00 PM and Sunday 10:30 AM

COVID-19 Health Safety Precautions

Following state, local, and archdiocesan guidelines, Holy Trinity Parish will observe the following health and safety precautions when classes meet onsite:

All students and teachers are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth when onsite. There will be mask breaks as needed during class when onsite.
Social distancing of 6 feet during Mass and class, and when entering and exiting the hall.
Temperature checks of all teachers, students, volunteers with digital scanner thermometers.
Hand sanitizers are available for use when entering the hall, and as needed.
No food consumption on church premises.
Seats and furniture disinfected after each use.
Bathrooms cleaned and disinfected prior to each class meeting.

Families are looking to their faith to guide them through these uncertain times. The Augustine Institute offers the domestic church (the family) excellent content about the Catholic faith ranging from its praxis to instructional material for faith formation at the parochial level. Here you can find resources on praying the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Stations of the Cross, inspiring studies like Presence, faith-based movies on Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the saints. There are plenty of e-books and audios and that you can use on mobile phones. Content viewable on Roku (smart TVs). Available in English and Spanish.
